Data and Time to be announced for this UAB Retirees Association Event at the Homewood Public Library Auditorium.

The Speaker will be Kris Findlay, UAB Alumnus and UAB Retiree.

Kris Findlay will offer tips and suggestions about the financial things retirees should be paying close attention to as they enjoy their golden years. Having a plan, avoiding surprises when possible, and paying attention to the financial winds is a must for an enjoyable and successful retirement.

Kris is currently the Managing Member of Rebecca, LLC which owns a family land interest in Georgia. He is a UAB Retiree (’09) where he spent 25 years in Finance and HR. While at UAB he held various positions throughout his career with specialization in budget management, information technology, and other back office functions. For 13 years in the second half of his UAB career he provided financial counseling to the UAB community. He holds a BS in Economics from UAB (86), with heavy coursework in Accounting and Computer Science.
